Ms. Deborah Chadbourne has practiced environmental law since 1977 with an emphasis on the concerns of the chemical specialty industry. Her areas of legal experience include pesticide formulation and application, metalworking, plastics molding, safety equipment manufacturing, chemical transportation, product packaging and labeling, and solvent recovery.
Ms. Chadbourne spent twenty years as corporate environmental counsel for a large international corporation, and gained considerable experience in compliance counseling spanning a wide range of environmental and safety areas as well as in administrative, civil and criminal defense matters. She has performed in-depth work in the field of pesticide regulation, including the development and start up of a Good Laboratory Practices program and management of federal and state pesticide registrations for many formulations.
Prior to working as corporate counsel, Chadbourne worked as an enforcement attorney at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region VI prosecuting administrative actions under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act and the Prevention of Significant Deterioration program under the Clean Air Act.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors, Chadbourne also earned her law degree with honors from the University of Florida.
